Makom L’Sachek: A Place to Play (Ages 0-5)
Sunday mornings when OZHS is in session (with some exceptions for school events), 9:30-11:30
Are you looking for a way to connect with other Jewish parents while your kids play, explore, and romp? Join us for open play time most Sunday mornings! Our Social Hall has toys, our children’s library has books and puzzles, and we have a brand new, state-of-the-art playground for your preschoolers. And there’s plenty of coffee in the lounge for parents! Come play and schmooze, whatever the weather!
Makom L’Tefilah: Tot Shabbat
Once per month on Friday evenings. 5:45 PM
Come sing, clap, and dance your way into Shabbat with your baby, toddler, or preschooler! One Shabbat a month, children and their grownups gather for a gentle introduction to the music and concepts of Shabbat, followed by challah, juice, and a vegetarian potluck. Traditional songs and prayers are interspersed with lively, kid-centered tunes that might have you making (imaginary) chicken soup one week or welcoming a dinosaur to Shabbat the next! Story time is always included. No prior knowledge of Hebrew or Shabbat prayers needed, so come join the fun!
