| Jan began work at OZ as the Accounting Manager in January of 2008 and recently became the Director of Finance & Administration. Born and raised in Washington State, Jan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University in Pullman and an MBA from the Seattle campus of the University of Puget Sound. She and her husband, Tim, and their 15-year-old daughter, Sarah, moved to Burlington in 2003 when Tim accepted a psychology professorship at the University of Vermont. Jan has worked for more than 20 years in the financial field, in both the non-profit and private sectors. Most recently, Jan completed an 11-year tenure as the controller of a Tucson, Arizona-based mortgage lender, having served the last five years working remotely from Burlington. While enjoying her time at her last job, Jan was ready to rejoin the non-profit world in a position that would allow her to put both her financial and people skills to good use. In particular, Jan is excited about working with the diverse individuals who make up our congregation. |

Jen Lieberman’s voice will soon be familiar to all. Having been at OZ for a short while, she’s already busy researching programs and planning for the OZ Open House, meeting with committee chairs and learning about the many ways she can reach out to the OZ community in order to help make OZ the active, vital place we all want it to be. Happily for us, Jen is excited to be working with the Board to develop a membership drive, whereby we hope to increase membership significantly. She comes to us with a strong education background, including a Master of Arts from Columbia University. She also brings immense energy and enthusiasm, and is eager to hear from one and all about your programming ideas and what each of you feels we can do to make OZ as welcoming as it can be.
