End of Life Care: Jewish and Christian perspectives
Please join Rabbi Amy Small and Reverend Deadre Ashton for a screening of the film, Being Mortal, based on the book of the same title by Atul Gawande.
The film explores the relationships doctors have with patients nearing the end of life, and discusses a frequent lack of training that doctors have in discussing chronic illness and death with patients.
Rabbi Amy Small and Reverend Deadre Ashton will discuss important spiritual teachings, practices and considerations for people nearing the end of life from Jewish and Christian perspectives.
