Cardamom Quartet is an ensemble of teaching and performing artists who build personal connections between their listeners and music through interactive performances and educational programs. The quartet’s repertoire ranges from Beethoven to the present day, with an emphasis on contemporary repertoire including original works by the composers in the group. The quartet, based in Boston, features musicians Lisa Goddard, Rachel Panitch, Ariel Friedman, and Montpelier native Eve Boltax.
The program will include:

Beethoven’s Quartet Op. 74, “The Harp”
Osvaldo Golijov’s ‘Tenebrae.” Golijov is a contemporary Argentinian Jewish composer.
Original works by violinist Rachel Panitch and cellist Ariel Friedman.
