ChaiLights – Designing Ceramic Medallions – Part 1 of 2
May 3 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am

In this two part offering, attendees will gather with beloved community member and pottery artist Vicky Tamas, known for her beautiful handcrafted works—including kiddush cups, tzedakah boxes, and necklace medallions inspired by Jewish values and themes of peace.
In our first meeting, Vicky will guide participants in creating their own ceramic medallion. At our second meeting, participants will get to glaze their work, and then Vicky will fire them right at the synagogue. Along the way, enjoy time together in a warm, creative setting and leave with your own necklace or charm to treasure.
It is necessary to attend both sessions. (Please note that May 10th is Mother’s Day)
ChaiLights gatherings will give you a chance to learn, taste and connect.
Each gathering will start off with food and open conversation, followed by a unique experience that will engage and inspire, let us create and improve the world.
This project’s vibe is fun, social and low-pressure, with activities lead by community volunteers. It’s a great fit for Jews, Jewish-adjacent and those who are just curious.
