Havdallah Program and Klezmer Concert 2nd Annual Sukkot on the Farm Festival
Celebratory Dancing, Dessert and Bonfire to Follow
Light up the night and the festival Sukkah with Discussions inspired by Ecclesiastes: “In a material world of impermance, where can we best make our mark and be satisfied?” We will end our evening with a celebratory dance party in the barn with nationally renowned Yiddishkeit Klezmer Ensemble (pending) Bonfire, marshmallows, wine and local musicians provided! You bring a dessert to share, your dancing shoes and $5 for the musicians.

Harvest Fair, Sukkot’s Mystic Roots and Community Celebration!

$15 suggested donation per family or $5 a person
On Sunday, join with community for do-it-yourself homesteading and crafting activities: volunteering on the farm, and much more! The morning starts with workshops for everyone. After a communal, potluck lunch, we’ll have live blacksmithing, apple pressing, horse drawn hayrides, rope making, harvest crafts and games. We’ll end the day with some get down and boogie music with nationally performing Klezmer music and puppets!
9:30 am – Arrival, Parking, Admire the Amazing Sukkah
9:45 am – Community Circle: Bringing down the Waters Ceremony for Shemini Atzeretz led by Rabbis from the Stowe and Montpelier communities
10-11:30 am – Morning Workshops for the whole family
Women’s Wilderness Woods Hike led by Kohenet Priestess in Training www.kohenet.org

12:30 – 2:30 pm – Homesteading Interactive Workshops
Puppet Show by nationally touring Talking Hands Theatre Company from Massachusetts (tentative)
Horse and Buggy Rides, Apple Pressing, Potato Harvesting, Live Blacksmithing, Wilderness survival skills, family treasure hunts
2-4 pm Musical Klezmer Celebration and Community Closing Circle
