Join us for Lunch & Learn on Thursday, March 18 at 12:00pm with Bill Schubart on Being Catholic, Jewish, and Agnostic All at Once.

Bill will talk about his German-Jewish background, his baptism into the Catholic faith at age four, his love-hate relationship with Catholicism, his distinction between the Jewish faith and Israeli politics, and the questions that haunt him about religion in general. Bill Schubart has lived with his family in Vermont since 1947. A teacher before entering communications as an entrepreneur, he writes about Vermont in fiction, humor and opinion pieces and speaks extensively on the arts, media and non-profit governance. He is also a regular commentator and blogger on public radio. In his novel, Photographic Memory, he draws upon his own background as a Catholic youngster learning about his Jewish family, including his great uncle, renowned photographer Alfred Stieglitz.
