Meet Cantorial Candidate
March 8, 2017 - March 9, 2017
We are currently engaged in an important process of seeking a fulltime
cantor for Ohavi Zedek, and we are hoping for YOUR participation!
We have three candidates for the position of OZ Cantor coming over the next three weeks. We
hope that you will take the time to come and meet them so that we can have full community
participation in this crucial process that has such a great impact on our shul. See below for
information about when they are coming, links to their music, and times when the whole
community is invited to come meet them.
After the three candidates visit and interview, the committee will make a recommendation to
the board. The whole congregation, however, must vote on the committee and board’s
recommendation. There will be a be a facilitated discussion with time for questions and
comments.
We are planning a special all‐congregation meeting to take this vote on Sunday, April 2nd at
9:30 am. Please mark it in your calendars. (More info about that below.)
Below are times when community members are invited in to meet with Cantorial
