Memorial Service – October 2
There is a tradition for Jews to visit the graves of loved ones as Rosh Hashanah approaches. We will gather at the Hebrew Holy Society Cemetery on Patchen Road on October 2 at 1:00 pm for a brief Memorial Service. At this time, we will bury the contents of the synagogue’s Genizah: worn sacred books and other materials which, because they have the name of God in them, require such care.
