July 21-22…Special Guest on Shabbat…OZ
Linda Avitan lives in Rehovot, Israel and is one of the leaders of Women of the Wall in Israel. She and her family will be staying at Rabbi Amy’s home and you are invited to attend pot luck after services on Fri., July 21 at Rabbi Amy’s home. Linda has been on the news in Israel this week commenting on the stunningly disappointing decision of the Netanyahu govt. to set aside the negotiated plan for the division of the Kotel, which would have allowed for egalitarian prayer. This has been consuming the leadership and the press of the Jewish world all week! Linda has graciously agreed to talk about it at Shabbat am services 7/22.
