December 16, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
We write as a small group of folks who felt nourished, enlivened, uplifted by the song from the incredible Joey Weisenberg weekend. We want to carry on singing together. We are delighted and excited to announce that we will be forming a singing community. Our intention is to gather twice monthly to join our voices in song together. We’re very open to input; we want to design the music we learn and share around what the group as a whole is most called to. We will start with some tunes from Joey as a seed– and add in some of everything. Song lifts us up, provides community, nourishment, joy, revolution of the heart. This is our hope in gathering together. EVERYONE is welcome.
We will meet at Ohavi Zedek Synagogue (in the yurt, weather permitting) on Sunday December 16th from 4-5:30 pm. We’ll establish a regular pattern that works for those who wish to be involved.
In sum: We will have: tunes, melodies, songs! Snacks! Cozy blankets! Smiling faces! Community abounding! And hopefully, YOU!
Come join us, please. If you want to invite a friend- go for it. We’re so excited to show up for and with each other and make a (joyful, contemplative, hopeful, soulful, rejuvenating) noise.
