UVM’s ‘Applied Community Planning’
March 22, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
UVM’s ‘Applied Community Planning’
UVM’s ‘Applied Community Planning’ class will be helping out with the early stages of a strategic plan for Ohavi Zedek. From mid-January through early May this year, the class will be organizing events, taking surveys, and conducting interviews with OZ members to learn about our challenges, our aspirations, our ideas, and our values as a community. We expect the class’s work will inspire some thoughtful conversations, give us a meaningful head start on thinking about our future, and hopefully create opportunities for all of our members to get involved. The class is taught by David Hohenschau, a strategic planning consultant, through UVM’s Community Development and Applied Economics program.
Please mark on your calendars:
March 22 (5 to 7pm). Community discussion session #2. This would be focused more on evaluation (what’s working, what could change?) and ideas, using specific thematic areas to frame the conversations.
May 10 (5 to 7pm). Community session #3. Final class presentations and discussion.
