SUMMARY:Minyan
DESCRIPTION:Ohavi Zedek offers regular minyan services to meet the worship needs of our community and especially to aid those members of our community who are reciting Kaddish in memory of a recently deceased loved one or on a Yahrzeit. Services are held Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00. Ohavi Zedek’s minyan is traditional and egalitarian. Mincha and Maariv are recited at evening services when the services begin before dark\, only Ma’ariv is recited once we reach the point in the year when services start after dark.\nIf you are planning to attend a service to recite Kaddish please contact the OZ Office (office@ohavizedek.org) and let us know so the minyan captains can make sure there is a minyan present.

DESCRIPTION:Do you like plays?  Come together on zoom to explore play scripts with Jewish themes. We’ll learn about the plays\, do short readings aloud on zoom\, and discuss them. No experience necessary. Come to be a reader or just to listen.  We will meet evenings\, the fourth Monday each month: Come to as many sessions as you can. Scripts will be shared by share screen or email at each session.
