SUMMARY:Minyan
DESCRIPTION:Ohavi Zedek offers regular minyan services to meet the worship needs of our community and especially to aid those members of our community who are reciting Kaddish in memory of a recently deceased loved one or on a Yahrzeit. Services are held Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00. Ohavi Zedek’s minyan is traditional and egalitarian. Mincha and Maariv are recited at evening services when the services begin before dark\, only Ma’ariv is recited once we reach the point in the year when services start after dark.\nIf you are planning to attend a service to recite Kaddish please contact Cantor Steve to let us know so we can make sure there is a minyan present.

SUMMARY:Monday Morning Meditative Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The OZ community is invited to join an emerging group called the “Burlington Dharma Collective” made up of some OZ members and others\, both Jewish and other backgrounds\, who will practice meditation in the Yurt three Mondays this summer: July 24\, 31\, and August 7 from 9 to 10 am.  The group’s intent is to bring those who have been practicing on their own\, or those new to meditation\, together to “support each other in connecting to the loving and compassionate nature of the heart and the awakened essence of our own minds so that we can be agents of liberation for ourselves\, each other\, and our communities.”  OZ community members are welcome to attend and participate.  Attending is free\, and an optional contribution is welcome.
