DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a special Friday Evening Tot Shabbat\, Young Family Nosh\, Musical Shabbat Service and Community Dinner. \n4:30 pm to 6 pm – Preschool families\, young families\, staff and all community members are invited for an early evening nosh with wine and cheese.\n4:45 pm – Tot Shabbat toddlers & their grown-ups will be led by Cantor Silverberg & her summer intern Daniel Meyer.\n6:00 pm – Shabbat Nachamu (Shabbat of Comfort) Musical Service will be led by Cantor Silverberg and Daniel.\n7:15 pm – David & Holly are hosting a community dinner for all. \nPlease RSVP for the Tot Shabbat and / or Dinner so we have the right amount of food. \n  \nPLEASE  RSVP for the Tot Shabbat and / or Dinner \n  \nAbout Shabbat Nachamu\, also known as the Sabbath of Comfort\, will be observed on August 8-9\, 2025\, following Tisha B’Av\, which is on August 7th\, 2025. This Shabbat is the first of seven weeks of consolation readings from the Book of Isaiah\, leading up to Rosh Hashanah. The name “Nachamu” comes from the first verse of the day’s Haftarah reading\, which begins with the words “Nachamu\, nachamu ami\,” meaning “Comfort\, comfort My people.” \n
