DESCRIPTION:Ohavi Zedek offers regular minyan services to meet the worship needs of our community and especially to aid those members of our community who are reciting Kaddish in memory of a recently deceased loved one or on a Yahrzeit. Services are held Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00 on Zoom. Ohavi Zedek’s minyan is traditional and egalitarian. Mincha and Maariv are recited at evening services when the services begin before dark\, only Ma’ariv is recited once we reach the point in the year when services start after dark. We also hold Sunday Shacharit at 8:45 AM in person and on Zoom. \nIf you are planning to attend a service to recite Kaddish please fill out this form to let us know so we can make sure there is a minyan present. \nClick here to access the Weekday Siddur Lev Shalem used during our evening Minyan services. \nZoom link is below under the heading ‘Website’. \nPlease make your full first and last name viewable on Zoom\, so we know who you are and can admit you.

SUMMARY:Bread For Peace - March 2026
DESCRIPTION:A fundraiser for humanitarian aid in Israel and Palestine. A partnership between communities\, volunteers bake and sell bread in the community kitchens to benefit these medical relief organizations: \nUnited Hatzalah: first responders in Israel\nPalestine Children’s Relief Fund: medical care for children in Gaza and West Bank \nOur goal is to partner with a diverse groups of interfaith congregations on this project. This date will include Ohavi Zedek and Burlington Friends Meeting\, as well as other invited local congregations. If your house of worship church\, synagogue or mosque is interested in participating\, please contact us. \nBread (challah\, pita\, gluten-free oat) will be baked in the OZ kitchen from 12pm – 6pm and available for pick-up in the evening or the following day in Burlington or Richmond. DESCRIPTION:Discover the joy of Jewish music\, movement\, and community. \nIsraeli dance is one vibrant expression of the broader tradition of Jewish folk dance. It brings people together through lively music\, shared movement\, and a welcoming community. It is easy to start and difficult to stop! Along the way\, you’ll enjoy an activity that’s great for both your body and your brain. \nWhether you’ve danced for years or are taking your very first steps\, you’ll find a warm\, encouraging community ready to welcome you. \nNo partner or previous experience is needed. New dancers are encouraged to arrive at the beginning of the session\, when we’ll introduce the basic steps before gradually building to more advanced dances throughout the evening. \nJoin hosts Mitch\, Lani\, and Miriam and a friendly group of dancers who gather twice each month in person and weekly on Zoom. \nFree to attend. Optional $5 donation appreciated. \nInterested but can’t make this session?
