DESCRIPTION:Please join Rabbi Ariel for a hands-on learning experience. In preparation for Pesach\, it is customary to sell our unused chametz (mechirat chametz) so that it may be repurchased after Passover. Although widely practiced\, this process is rarely witnessed and can often feel confusing.  \nOn March 31\, Rabbi Ariel will conduct the sale of our community’s chametz while guiding us step by step through how the process works.

SUMMARY:Minyan (Online Evening)
DESCRIPTION:Ohavi Zedek offers regular minyan services to meet the worship needs of our community and especially to aid those members of our community who are reciting Kaddish in memory of a recently deceased loved one or on a Yahrzeit. Services are held Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00 on Zoom. Ohavi Zedek’s minyan is traditional and egalitarian. Mincha and Maariv are recited at evening services when the services begin before dark\, only Ma’ariv is recited once we reach the point in the year when services start after dark.
