DESCRIPTION:We are saddened to announce the passing of Marvin Glickstein\, Moshe Reuven\, z”l. He leaves behind his beloved children\, Linda Glickstein\, Robert Glickstein\, Cheri Rhodes and her spouse\, Randy\, as well as his grandchildren\, Jennifer and Brian\, and his great-grandchildren\, Emma and Austin. Marvin\, z”l\, also leaves behind his partner of many years\, Barbara Rippa\, her children\, Diane Rippa and her spouse\, David Rome\, Joel Rippa and his spouse\, Lori\, as well as her grandchildren\, Benjamin and his spouse\, Rachel\, Daniel and his spouse\, Katie\, and her great-grandchildren\, Simon and Layla. \nMarvin\, z”l\, died in the early morning on Shabbat\, Rosh Hashanah\, September 12\, 2026 / the 1st of Tishrei 5787. \nA memorial service will be held at Ohavi Zedek Synagogue on Tuesday\, September 15th at 4:00 PM. SUMMARY:Minyan (Online Evening)
DESCRIPTION:Ohavi Zedek offers regular minyan services to meet the worship needs of our community and especially to aid those members of our community who are reciting Kaddish in memory of a recently deceased loved one or on a Yahrzeit. Services are held Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00 on Zoom. Ohavi Zedek’s minyan is traditional and egalitarian. Mincha and Maariv are recited at evening services when the services begin before dark\, only Ma’ariv is recited once we reach the point in the year when services start after dark.
