DESCRIPTION:VJP readings are designed to deepen our connections as a community. Each poet will read for 15 minutes\, followed by a brief period of audience comments. \nA list of the readers and bios is below. She has written poems and memoir pieces and taught memoir writing in continuing education classes. She had a book of poems published entitled Sisters of the Black Tortoise and resides in Belmont Vermont. Her memoir pieces focus on life growing up in NYC in the 1950’s. \n\nToni Ortner\nMy website is toniortner.com where you can see my published books and reviews if you like. New books coming out are Passing Through by Deerbrook Editions\, Prayers are Kites We Fly by Rockwood Press\, and Monarch in the Desert by Dancing Girl Press.
