DESCRIPTION:Alan E. Rubel is a co-author/editor of a powerful collection of 43 stories about the reality of being an unpaid caregiver. The book\, The Greatest Burden. The Greatest Blessing\, includes stories involving a variety of areas of caregiving. As Rubel notes\, “our mission is to help today’s and tomorrow’s caregivers through these stories.” \nA former board member of the Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice; a competitive Senior Games javelin thrower; and the current Co-Chair of Ohavi Zedek’s Cemetery Committee\, Rubel will discuss his book and the challenges and rewards facing caregivers. \nNote: this Lunch & Learn talk was videotaped by CCTV / Town Meeting TV and can be viewed on their website. \nSponsors of this Talk: \nThanks to OZ Members Rebecca Sherlock and Michael Strauss for generously sponsoring Alan Rubel’s talk.
