DESCRIPTION:Every Friday this Summer | 10:00–11:00 AM | Social Hall \nAs part of our commitment to building a more connected and transparent community\, we’re excited to invite you to a new weekly opportunity to gather\, share\, and be heard. \nEvery Friday morning this summer\, join us for an informal Tea & Coffee Hour at OZ. Whether you want to talk about what’s happening at OZ\, share an idea or concern\, or simply enjoy each other’s company\, this is a welcoming space for conversation and community. \nEach week\, a member of the OZ Board and/or our Executive Director will be present to listen\, answer questions\, and hear your thoughts. This is your time to speak up\, connect\, or just enjoy a cup of something warm. \nYou’ll also get a behind-the-scenes peek at our vibrant Friday mornings—with kiddush volunteers bustling in the kitchen and the preschool’s joyful Shabbat Party bringing life and laughter to the building. \nTea\, coffee\, and a light snack will be provided. \nWe hope to see you there! \nThe OZ Board

SUMMARY:Bread For Peace - August 2025
DESCRIPTION:A fundraiser for humanitarian aid in Israel and Palestine. A partnership between communities\, volunteers bake and sell bread in the community kitchens to benefit these medical relief organizations: \nUnited Hatzalah: first responders in Israel\nPalestine Children’s Relief Fund: medical care for children in Gaza and West Bank \nOur goal is to partner with a diverse groups of interfaith congregations on this project. This date will include Ohavi Zedek and Burlington Friends Meeting\, as well as other invited local congregations. If your house of worship church\, synagogue or mosque is interested in participating\, please contact us. \nBread (challah\, pita\, gluten-free oat) will be baked in the OZ kitchen on August 15th from 12pm – 6pm and available for pick-up in the evening or the following day in Burlington or Richmond. Volunteers are also needed on August 15th during the following time slots: Noon – 1:30pm\, 1:30pm – 3pm\, and 3pm – 5pm. \n  \nPurchase Bread / Sign Up to Volunteer Here
