SUMMARY:Yoga in the Yurt - High Holy Days
DESCRIPTION:Yoga in the yurt is a series of three Sunday morning gatherings that combine yoga and Jewish learning. It’s a great way to connect your body\, mind\, and soul as we prepare to celebrate Rosh Hashanah\, the Jewish New Year.\n \nDates include Sundays August 20\, 27 and September 10th (The 10th is OZ’s open house too!). \nThis shorter than usual (50 minute) session will include mindfulness breathing exercises\, slow flow yoga\, and includes Peggy leading a light group discussion related to High Holy Days. \n\nThis is a multi-level yoga class perfect for beginners and experienced yogis.\nPlease wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle\, a yoga mat (and a yoga block if you have one).\nNo Hebrew or background knowledge is required.\nWe’ll meet in the yurt beyond the main building.\n\nLike any good Jewish yoga class\, bagels will be provided after class. \nThere will be a standard exercise waiver you will be required to sign to participate in the yoga class. \nSpace is limited to twelve per session.  We encourage attendance of the whole series\, but you are welcome to sign up for individual sessions that fit your schedule. \nCost is free\, with optional donation to help support OZ programming. \nRegister Here \nYoga in the yurt will be led by community member Peggy Price\, RYT-200\, and creator of Yoga Body\, Jewish Mind. \n \nThis event is part of OZ’s Open House. \nJewish Yoga Resources: \n\nIs Yoga Kosher?
