DESCRIPTION:Pride Seder is a ritual that chronicles the liberation of LGBTQ+ people\, much like the Passover Seder\, which retells the story of the liberation of the Jewish people.\nSee 2023 Event Info \nJoin a diverse gathering of Vermont LGBTQ+ Jews\, Jew-adjacent folks and Allies to celebrate our coming out of bondage with songs\, prayers\, and an unusual and poignant seder plate.  The event is designed for people roughly ages 13 and up\, and people of all ages are welcome. \nIf you would like to help out or be a reader\, please leave a comment when you register via the link below or contact us. \nRegister for the Pride Seder \nEvent History: The first Pride Seder took place in 1995\, using a Haggadah written by Ray Schnitzler and Susie Kisber\, of the Berkeley Queer Minyan.  Copies of the Haggadah travelled to B’nai Jeshurun in New York\, Sha’ar Zahav in San Francisco and many other communities around the world.  We look forward to adapting this Haggadah for our first Vermont event. \nThe Vermont Pride Seder comes three days after the Vermont Pride Festival Parade.
