SUMMARY:Shabbat Morning Services
DESCRIPTION:Website / Zoom Link : Click Here \nOur Shabbat morning service is traditional egalitarian with new melodies and kavannot (spiritual intentions) introduced and incorporated. \nFollowing services\, we often host a Kiddush – a lunch donated by synagogue members or b mitzvah families\, where all are welcome. Saturday morning services begin at 9:15 AM. \nOur morning service will feature our Shabbat Village: \n– An intentional place for families\, children and anyone to schmooze and be together during the time of Shabbat services \n– No pressure to join in the service (though of course all are welcome to attend as much or little as works for you) \n– Families may access the playground\, gardens and trails \n– Everyone is invited to the kiddush (meal) afterward (when applicable) \n– Children’s books and a livestream of services will be provided. Currently\, children will need to be accompanied by their adult(s).  Parents may choose to team up – it takes a village! \nTorah Study typically takes place at 8:30 am before services.  Check our calendar for details.

SUMMARY:Shabbat Morning Services with Cantor Silverberg
DESCRIPTION:Website / Zoom Link : Click Here \nOur Shabbat morning service is traditional egalitarian with new melodies and kavannot (spiritual intentions) introduced and incorporated. \nFollowing services\, we often host a Kiddush – a lunch donated by synagogue members or b mitzvah families\, where all are welcome. Saturday morning services begin at 9:15 AM. \nOur morning service will feature our Shabbat Village: \n– An intentional place for families\, children and anyone to schmooze and be together during the time of Shabbat services \n– No pressure to join in the service (though of course all are welcome to attend as much or little as works for you) \n– Families may access the playground\, gardens and trails \n– Everyone is invited to the kiddush (meal) afterward (when applicable) \n– Children’s books and a livestream of services will be provided. Currently\, children will need to be accompanied by their adult(s).  Parents may choose to team up – it takes a village! \nTorah Study typically takes place at 8:30 am before services.  Check our calendar for details.

If there is interest\, we can have dinner in Montpelier after the play – and talk about it some more!  \n  \nABOUT THE PLAY: Adapted by Ismail Khalidi and Naomi Wallace from a novella by the Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani\, it was originally Commissioned by New York’s Public Theater. Unadilla is premiering it with a New York cast and director. The play works on several levels: as a poignant family drama\, as a plea for Israeli-Palestinian understanding and as a warning of what will follow without some form of reconciliation. This could easily be a propaganda piece. Instead\, it offers a moving confrontation between two sets of displaced people and an utterly unsentimental exploration of the complexities of home\, history and parenthood.  \nWHERE: Unadilla Theatre\, 501 Blachly Road\, Marshfield Vermont 05658  \nIt is beyond Montpelier\, about 70 minutes away.  LET’S CARPOOL.
