DESCRIPTION:OZ member and artist\, Michael Strauss\, is hosting a guided Life Drawing session in the social hall. \nA life drawing is a drawing of the human figure from observation of a live model (the model will be clothed). Some drawing experience is helpful. Medium will be charcoal or graphite or ink pen. Participants will bring their own equipment and supplies. \nMasks preferred but optional.  Please try to do an at-home COVID test before arrival. \nRegistration is required and space is limited. DESCRIPTION:Pride Seder is a ritual that chronicles the liberation of LGBTQ+ people\, much like the Passover Seder\, which retells the story of the liberation of the Jewish people.\nSee 2023 Event Info \nJoin a diverse gathering of Vermont LGBTQ+ Jews\, Jew-adjacent folks and Allies to celebrate our coming out of bondage with songs\, prayers\, and an unusual and poignant seder plate.  The event is designed for people roughly ages 13 and up\, and people of all ages are welcome. \nIf you would like to help out or be a reader\, please leave a comment when you register via the link below or contact us. \nRegister for the Pride Seder \nEvent History: The first Pride Seder took place in 1995\, using a Haggadah written by Ray Schnitzler and Susie Kisber\, of the Berkeley Queer Minyan.  Copies of the Haggadah travelled to B’nai Jeshurun in New York\, Sha’ar Zahav in San Francisco and many other communities around the world.  We look forward to adapting this Haggadah for our first Vermont event. \nThe Vermont Pride Seder comes three days after the Vermont Pride Festival Parade.
