For the first time ever, the whole OZ community is invited to Mitzvah Day 2022 on February 13th! This is the most important day of the whole OZHS school year as it exemplifies all that Ohavi Zedek, Lovers of Justice, strives to instill in our students. This year, we are focusing on the amazing work of the Shalom Shuk and how it supports the refugee community.

9:45-10:30 – Join us to hear presentations from our 7^th graders about how they are already making a difference in the world with their B Mitzvah projects! In addition, OZHS alumni will share about how their projects influenced their choices after graduation. Special guest speakers include Karen Robair, Shalom Shuk Manager, speaking about all that the Shuk does to help the area’s refugees settle into their new lives and a recent refugee arrival telling us about their experiences.
