Courageous Conversations about Israel / Palestine: a facilitated discussion

Sunday, April 4, 2027 @ 8:00 am - 11:15 am

As American Jews, talking about Israel and Palestine is difficult – and therefore important.

We welcome all Jewish identified adults (and their family members) to discuss our beliefs, reactions and feelings as Americans to Israel/ Palestine today. The purpose of these conversations is to engage with each other honestly, to listen, and to learn about each other. When we do this, we are less fearful and our community is stronger. All perspectives are welcome.

The 5 conversations will build on each other. Come to as many as you can. Coffee and bagels provided.

Sunday mornings, once a month in person at Ohavi Zedek Synagogue, 188 North Prospect Street, Burlington.

Please register

“I continue to appreciate the structure of the discussion, and your roles as facilitators. Also the conversations have great depth and I always learn.”

“I want to continue to have different conversations with others, with understanding and respect”

“Exhausting and it feeds me”

“The premise of having these conversations is itself holy”
