Hanukkah at OZ: Light, Music & Making
Sunday, December 6 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

All-ages Hanukkah Party
Come celebrate Hanukkah with a morning of live music, Yiddish dancing, latkes, storytelling, building, games and making — designed for kids, grown-ups, grandparents, friends and anyone looking for a joyful way to connect with Jewish community.
Things start at 10:30 am with Ozzy and visiting musicians working with our Jewish Journeys students on Yiddish dance. At 11:00, the music will lead the kids in a procession to the stage for a short student dance and music performance, followed by a chance for everyone to dance together.
Then the party opens up.
Help create something glowing in our vintage Lite-Brite and Lego building stations, play dreidel and board games, make Hanukkah crafts, get your face painted, and explore special activities for our youngest kids and preschool families.
Grown-ups get to make, too: Vicky will lead a ceramics activity especially for adults in the Samuelson Saiger Sanctuary.
Starting at 11:30, grab some latkes and Hanukkah treats, warm up at the hot chocolate bar, and enjoy time together around the building.
We’ll follow the stories with Hanukkah singing together, then keep the food, building, making, playing and hanging out going through 1:00 PM.
