Three years after October 7, we will come together for an evening of remembrance, reflection, connection and hope.

Joining us will be Myriam Darmoni Charbit, an Israeli peace worker and educator who shared the High Holidays with our community in 2023. When October 7 happened, Myriam and her family were here in Burlington, far from their home in Israel, and OZ became an important part of how they experienced the days that followed.

Now back in Israel, Myriam’s work includes bringing Jewish and Palestinian Israeli women together through what she calls “small experiments of peace.” She will be in Burlington to help us remember, reflect, listen and hold onto hope.

The evening will include stories, prayer, reflection, art, music and communal singing. Participate in whatever way feels right — or simply be present.
