What is Climate Change, how does it affect our health and life, and what we can do about it. Join climate change experts – and OZ members- Fred Kosnitsky and Susan Kaplan to learn and discuss this critical issue. Drop in these 5 monthly sessions on Thursday evenings. Attend as many as you can!

· Session 1 – Dec. 18 – The Science of Climate Change: Weather, Climate, the Greenhouse Effect, Greenhouse Gases and Where They Come From
· Session 2 – Jan. 22 – Climate Change Impacts Part I – How nature is affected – from catastrophic floods, droughts, and storms to biodiversity loss and more.
· Session 3 – Feb. 19 – Climate Change Impacts Part II – How people are affected, with an emphasis on Health; how those impacts to the environment in Part I (plus other climate change impacts) affect human health.
· Session 4 – Mar. 19 – Climate Change Solutions Part I – What Can I Do? – Focus on personal behavior changes and magnifying your power to make change
· Session 5 – Apr. 16 – Climate Change Solutions Part II – What Can We Do? – Focus on System Change from communities to states to global actions. Susan covers state public health policies and actions.
