Part Time Early Childhood Paraeducator Position at Full Circle
Full Circle Preschool is looking for a part time paraeducator to join our team. This person will serve as a one-on-one support to a four year old preschool student on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The right candidate will have a background working in early childhood education and will have experience supporting children with Individualized Education Plans. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is also required. This position requires modeling and support in the following areas: safe, appropriate coping strategies, play initiation, peer interaction and communication, sensory and emotional regulation, and fine motor development.
The paraeducator will also help the child’s primary classroom teacher implement new strategies, equipment, materials, and resources to provide further support to the child and their family.
This position is grant funded and runs for a total of 26 weeks. There is high potential for a second round of funding for an additional 26 weeks.
When: Mondays and Tuesdays 10:00am-5:00 pm.
Start Date: July 1, 2023
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
*infant/adult first aid and cpr certification is required, but Full Circle will provide this training if applicant is not already certified. This position also includes professional development opportunities.
