From Wayne Senville, Coordinator, OZ Lunch & Learn Series: “I want to invite you to the 2025/ 2026 “Lunch & Learn” talks at OZ — covering September 2025 thru April 2026.

In the OZ Social Hall for the April 24, 2025 Lunch & Learn talk, “The Music of Terezin,” given by Michael Schachter.

Musician Brian Perkins’ Lunch & Learn presentation on the musical heritage of Burlington’s Old North End.
All monthly Lunch & Learn talks are in-person on Thursdays, from Noon to 1:15pm in OZ’s Social Hall. They’re a great opportunity to learn, have a delicious lunch, and socialize. You can also chat with the speakers after their presentations.”
All talks are free, though we welcome contributions (by credit card) when you register for a talk, and we also pass around a jug at each event for those wanting to contribute with cash. This helps us cover our food costs of roughly $10 per person. We also urge you to register for each event in advance to help us know how many people will likely attend so we can prepare the right amount of food.
If you appreciate our Lunch & Learn series — and can afford to do so — please also consider sponsoring one of the talks for $125. You’ll be supporting Ohavi Zedek with your donation! Just check the sponsorship box on the registration form for the event(s) you’d like to help sponsor. Or simply call OZ at (802) 864-0218 and ask to speak to OZ staff member Evan Rose.
