ChaiLights – Making Pickles with a little Jewish Food History on the Side
April 12 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Let’s preserve! Bring an empty glass jar to this session, and leave with it packed full of cabbage already on its way to becoming delicious sauerkraut. While our hands are busy chopping and squeezing and salting, we’ll learn some tasty history about Jewish food preservation.
ChaiLights gatherings will give you a chance to learn, taste and connect.
Each gathering will start off with food and open conversation, followed by a unique experience that will engage and inspire, let us create and improve the world.
This project’s vibe is fun, social and low-pressure, with activities lead by community volunteers. It’s a great fit for Jews, Jewish-adjacent and those who are just curious.
