We are calling a special meeting of the congregation to make a final review of the Board’s recommendation and to vote on the Board’s motion that Rabbi Aaron Philmus be offered the position of OZ’s next Rabbi. In accordance with the by-laws, this will be an in-person meeting with the vote taken by secret ballot. That meeting will be held at OZ on April 16th, between 9:30 and 10:30 am.

There will be an opportunity at the meeting to review, with members of the Rabbinic Search Committee, the process that was used and the diverse sets of information/data that were collected. Congregants will also have opportunities to ask questions.
