Interfaith Family Conversation

June 4, 2023 @ 9:15 am - 11:00 am

This free event is the first in a series for people in interfaith families or relationships*.  The goal is to create space for couples or individuals from interfaith families to connect, learn and support each other.  This event is for jewish and/or ‘adjacent’ individuals of any religious background.

We will meet Sunday, June 4 at 9:15 for coffee and bagels and a guided small group ‘check-in,’ followed by a facilitated discussion about the interfaith family experience.

This program will be co-facilitated by Rachel Jolly, Michael Schaal and Brett Smith.

Thanks to our grant from the National Center to Encourage Judaism, we can provide childcare and food at no cost.

*By interfaith families, we are referring to folks who are part of families or relationships in which one party is Jewish and another is not.  This includes those in multi-heritage families.  Those who are Jews by choice are welcome as well.

*This event was rescheduled from April 16.

Future events are in development.  We have tentatively planned a summer outdoor family gathering and a fall event focused on the “December Dilemma Delight: Navigating Winter Holidays.”  But we’ll be flexible: future events will take shape from our attendee feedback.
