The Practice of Presence: Jewish Mindfulness for Everyday Life

Sunday, January 10, 2027 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

In the midst of busy lives and constant demands, our Jewish tradition offers practices that help us slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with ourselves, one another, and the divine.

Join Amanda Silver for an introduction to Jewish contemplative practice. Together, we’ll explore mindfulness and silence in Jewish tradition through guided sitting and walking meditation, contemplative text study, and chant. This 2½-hour workshop invites us to engage our hearts, minds, and bodies in Jewish contemplative practice.

Whether you are curious about Jewish mindfulness, new to meditation, or looking to deepen an existing practice, this workshop offers an opportunity for quiet reflection and connection in community. No experience with meditation or Jewish contemplative practice necessary – just your curiosity and a willingness to be present. All are welcome.
