Soul Travel: Jewish Ways into Dream Interpretation with Rabbi Aaron
December 11 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Every night our souls go on a journey through the spirit world. We learn from the Talmud that dreams are 1/60th of prophecy and that a dream that has not been interpreted is like a letter that has not been read. Together we will discover the wealth of Jewish teachings on dreams, dream interpretation, and dream rituals.
As part of the class each person will keep a personal dream journal (Sefer Chalomot). We are meeting in the month of Kislev, which according to kabbalah is a time to turn within and pay attention to the deeper messages of our dreams. Kislev is also when we read from the Torah about Jacob’s Ladder and Josef the dreamer and dream interpreter.
No prior knowledge of Judaism is required nor do you need to be Jewish. All you need is an interest in dreams and their spiritual messages.
Sessions will be in-person, with a Zoom link being offered.
