BRING HOME Vermonter and Pastor Steven Tendo
February 6 @ 9:45 am - 11:00 am

Rabbi Ariel Ya’akov Dunat and Board President Lynda Siegel of Ohavi Zedek to be in attendance.
UPDATE: OUR BROTHER PASTOR STEVEN TENDO HAS BEEN DETAINED BY ICE!!!
He was surrounded by ICE enforcement the morning of Feb. 4th outside his place of work, taken into custody, and immediately transported to New Hampshire.
WE ARE RALLYING PEACEFULLY FOR HIS IMMEDIATE RELEASE, as originally planned, Friday, 2/6, 9:45-11 am, 64 Gricebrook Road, Saint Albans, VT.
Vigil hosted by: Vermont Faith Communities for Immigration Justice & Vermont Interfaith Action
☮️ ALL PEOPLE OF GOODWILL are welcome whether you belong to a faith/spiritual community or not!
We will gather outside the facility in support of and solidarity with Vermonter & Pastor Steven Tendo, of ELOI Ministries, of Colchester, who was set to report to this ICE Field Office for his three-month check-in at this time.
Pastor Tendo has ministered to migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and New Americans in the Green Mountain State for years – and has contributed just and compassionate service to the most vulnerable, while being in vulnerable status himself as an asylum-seeker from Uganda.
Our presence on Feb. 6 will signal to the U.S. Government and Vermont ICE officials that Steven is our Vermont brother, that we decry their actions, and insist upon his immediate release and return to Vermont.
DRESS WARMLY as this is an outside event.
