Family Shabbat
Family Shabbat
Come celebrate Shabbat with the Jewish Journeys family! We'll have song, prayer, movement and our student prayer art gallery. Each of our classes, both younger and older, will share their thoughts and feelings about prayer through their artwork. Vegetarian potluck following service.
Torah Study
Torah Study
Join us on Saturday mornings to examine midrash and medieval commentators and Hassidic text to uncover the many layers of meaning in the torah together. Participants are encouraged to bring their own torah commentaries to share.
Shabbat Morning Services
Shabbat Morning Services
Our Shabbat morning service is traditional egalitarian with new melodies and kavannot (spiritual intentions) introduced and incorporated. Following services, we often host a Kiddush – a lunch donated by synagogue members or b mitzvah families, where all are welcome. Saturday morning services begin at 9:15 AM.
