Children's line up begins at 5:15! Those who carry torahs may arrive at 5pm. Congregants are invited to be inside at 5:30. Watch the Torah processional, hear the beautiful melody of the Kol Nidre prayer, and begin the sacred work of renewal on the holiest day of the year!

Yom Kippur Morning Service 2026

Tom Yom Kippur 2026
This service is for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups. Service will be held inside.
Youth Yom Kippur 2026
This service is for children ages 6-12 and their grown-ups. Service will be held inside, across the street from OZ at the Burlington Friends Meeting House.
Yom Kippur Afternoon Services, Havdalah, and Break the Fast 2026
Micha will include the reading of the Book of Jonah. Ne'ilah is our final chance to make our prayers for the beginning of the year. Havdalah will be musical, kid-friendly, and brief. Online access and our digital Mahzor prayer book will be available to those who register for the High Holidays on our website.
Vermont Jewish Poets: Monthly Workshop
Vermont Jewish Poets is a monthly poetry workshop open to any Vermont poet identifying as Jewish. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month from 6pm-7:30pm on Zoom. Join a welcoming space where we give and receive constructive feedback on poems-in-progress. Please register here.

Torah Study
Join us on Saturday mornings to examine midrash and medieval commentators and Hassidic text to uncover the many layers of meaning in the torah together. Participants are encouraged to bring their own torah commentaries to share.

Shabbat Morning Services
Our Shabbat morning service is traditional egalitarian with new melodies and kavannot (spiritual intentions) introduced and incorporated. Following services, we often host a Kiddush – a lunch donated by synagogue members or b mitzvah families, where all are welcome. Saturday morning services begin at 9:15 AM.
